A real person.
A practical approach. ✳

The two parts

A welcome mat.
Then a way forward.

Hot Chicks brings the voice: warm, candid and able to laugh at the duvet-on, duvet-off nights. It offers free resources that make the science easier to approach.

Foundations gives that welcome a practical shape. It is the first programme: a structured 12-week nutrition education journey through perimenopause and menopause, connecting food choices with weight, symptoms and healthy ageing.

This is a separate commercial product from Lila's individual dietitian practice. Its role is general education and practical support, with clear boundaries when someone needs individual care.

What you can expect

Good company.
Clear thinking.

01

Humour with you

We can joke about the fan and frozen peas without making light of what you are going through.

02

Everyday usefulness

Short lessons and practical choices should help on an ordinary weekday, not only on your most organised one.

03

Honest limits

Menopause care is bigger than nutrition. Personal symptoms and treatment decisions belong with qualified clinicians.

EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE ENCOURAGEMENT

Knowledge.
With a human side.

Lila has been in private practice since 2006. Her work combines nutrition science with guidance shaped around the person and their everyday circumstances.

Her academic background includes nutrition and dietetics at the University of Cape Town and a Master’s in Nutritional Sciences at Stellenbosch University. She has also completed Integrative and Functional Nutrition practitioner training through IFNA.

Alongside her practice, Lila has contributed to health and lifestyle publications and appeared on television and radio to discuss nutrition. Explaining complex ideas in useful, accessible ways is part of her work.

THE APPROACH IN FOUNDATIONS

A plan should leave room for you.

Food choices sit alongside work, family, preferences, budgets and changing energy. Foundations is designed to explain the reasoning behind your choices. Each lesson connects nutrition knowledge with a practical decision, so your understanding grows as you work through the programme.

You can focus on everyday wellbeing without making weight loss your goal. There is no expectation to eat perfectly or share your personal story with the group.

Lila leads the nutrition content. Other contributors will be introduced when confirmed. The programme provides general education; personal assessment and treatment remain with your own health professionals.
